I have owned this beautiful cruiser for only a few months, but a pending cross country move is making us downsize. Truly a unique and wonderful vehicle we have lovingly been calling Louise (Lulu). Below is a list of the restoration work done by a professional Cruiser shop I bought it from, and right now she is being maintained by a Toyota Master Land Cruiser Specialist here in San Antonio (they did the brake work after purchasing and are available for consultation). I have put less than 1000 miles on the new V8 engine since purchasing it.

Full restoration performed including: body work to remove dents and imperfections; completely sealed and primer painted with a finish color of velvet green; two stage paint base coat and clear coat; undercarriage power washed and sandblasted; rust prevention with Rust Bullet comparable to Por-15; 3M rubberized top coat; new Old Man Emu 2 1/4 soft-ride leaf springs with grease-able shackles, Old Man Emu shocks and steering stabilizer, Old Man Emu inner and outer brake lines, new calipers, rotors, drums, shoes and pads, and a complete front rebuild on Birfield knuckles. She has a new dual exhaust system, a custom front bumper with 8000 pound Warn winch, and 2 bumper mounted Rigid Industries LED spotlights; custom rear bumper with spare tire carrier and receiver hitch, fully rebuilt rear brakes, custom Rock sliders, stealth roof rack with four forward facing LED spotlights and two rear-facing LED backup lights, new carpet and padding, reupholstered seats with marine-grade vinyl, lockable center console, custom powder-coated rear cargo panels, Genisi LED headlights, custom stereo system with Bluetooth and backup camera, Chevy 5.3 Vortec V8 engine, and a Chevy 4 l60e automatic transmission.

You should try an auction on bringatrailer.com. You'll be able to set a reserve with consultation from the site, and will get fair price.

You won't get 65k for it, but you'll get what the market will be bring.

X2. Or EBay...

BAT will show you what the market will bring.

If you luck out EBay will show you what someone who knows very little about Land Cruisers, and has money burning a whole in their pocket, is willing to pay...for something they likely can't smog where they live.

GLWS!

$65k and can't even create a good for sale ad.

to me this is just as bad as the flipper from SLC CL post.

Based on the very first picture in this thread my thought was "I bet he's gonna ask like $15k." When I saw the actual asking price my eyes literally rolled out of my head. I'm typing this blind.

I love the green but those non original brown vinyl seats with the green is absolutely hideous.
I wouldn't trade him even up for my 60.

Not sure I understand the full story, are you concerned that because of the cross country move, this rig would not be able to make the drive? There are plenty of 60s even in NYC, surely if you've put more than 50K into a cruiser, you can afford a garage to house it?

Wow and I get balks at my $37K for a much nicer conversion on an "86 with a TorFab V 8 conversion with a ZO6 Corvette cam and more goodies.
Go to Craigs list Denver and search 86 Land Cruiser......I have about $45K in the conversion and custom paint so thought $37K was fair but $65K?
I know what it takes to do it right but that is a bit of a dream........

Beautiful FJ60, guy. Exactly what I would like to have.

Anyway, its definitely not worth $6500 or 15k, for those saying that’s what is worth, you are all stock in 2005 lol I’m sure you guys wouldn’t sell your average looking 60s for anything less than 9-11k, so cmon now with the hate. I’ve seen average cruisers with bolt ons sell here for $10-15k. This particular one has an amazing paint job and a Bluetooth engine setup,.. sht.. I’d say he’ll get $25-40k for it from these hipster overlanding kids.

GL with the sell. If I had the money, I’d pick it up for $35k
