After enjoying my Fj60 restoration project for the last 8 years, it's time to move it on to the next avid adventurer. Posting here to see if anyone would be interested to buy or discuss the V8 swap project and the things to look out for on future projects.

Howdy. I’m interested in the topic. Which v8 did you pick? Horse power? Which tranny? What year model is it? How did the split t case handle the extra HP over the original straight 6? How fast can you drive in 4H? Does it feel smooth? I’ve always worried about that t case. I have been an avid wheeler since I could walk. Had many different brand trucks. My fav is the FJ60 for sure. I want a v8 fuel injected like LS1 or LS3. PM what price you are looking for. Oh, btw, it shows I’m new because I lost my old membership login email. So I am starting over. Here is my rig.

Don't sweat the tcase. They are known to be very strong..I have one behind my turned up Cummins 4bt making about 3x the factory 2F torque and it has held up fine for many wheeling trips and even a couple of multi-thousand miles road trips with lots of off road use along the way.
