@dbbowen My 2020 L8T engine is using the E92 controller, which is from a 2017 suburban. Gen V(5), I think.

Do you know anything about that controller? Perhaps it's a different story since it's not the original controller for that engine. We used it because it was more accessible programming wise.

L8T will be pretty crazy in a 60 series, thats freaking amazing. Unfortunately i dont know much about LT ECMs. I wouldnt think it would be much different once you figure out the pinouts on the ECM and can get it into HP tuners though

Well, I had a chance to check on this again and looked at my l8t engine harness. I believe it's a speartech.

The ac compressor has two connectors. One for the clutch, and one for the pressure switch on the back of the compressor. I believe that's the high pressure. It's labeled A/C Comp

However, there's another 3 wire connector I had forgotten about. It's simply labeled A/C Press. I believe that's the low pressure one that I need to incorporate somehow. Either with a gm switch under the hood somewhere, or use the toyota at the evaporator (er replace that one 😬)

I apologize for any confusion caused by me earlier mistake.

Apparently there is a pressure sensor on these gen V engines. Reads high side pressure for the pcm.

I just hooked up my AC in my lexus v8 swap. I kept the stock stuff and wired it to the ECU. Works as it should with idle up. The amp still works. I have a 60 series amp if you need one. The prices I see online for them is stupid, they aren't worth that much. 50-100 maybe but when you see 400+ that's just greedyness.
