Putting up my uncut 1982 FJ40 of or sale with power steering. The truck is in perfect running condition and is a daily driver. Very original, with original paint, everything works, right down to the interior light and the seat belt buzzer. I've owned the truck for the past 12 years and its been pampered the entire time. I recently installed a set of tie rod ends and the truck drives and tracks great. Here is a list of upgrades let me know if anyone has any questions.
Duel fuel tanks
New OEM carburetor purchased in 2009
Original OME (not Dekkar) suspension system
MAF shackle reversal
16 inch OEM split wheels purchased brand new in 2009
255/85/16 BFG mud terrains
Kaymar duel pivot rear bumper with tire carrier and camping light
ARB front bumper with warn 8274 winch (the winch has been rebuilt with a brand new controller box and rope by Mudrak)
Tuffy center console
Tuffy speaker boxes
Alpine blue tooth/cd receiver
I'm sure there are other things that I'm forgetting I will update as I remember. The truck was at Mudrak custom cruisers where Gary painted the frame, installed the suspension, did the reverse shacke, etc. the truck has been Mudrak improved and runs like a champ. The interior is very clean except a rip in the drivers side seat, I have a set of perfect fit GT seat covers. Their is rust on the drivers side floor pan and the rear seel, passenger side is clean. The previous owner installed some diamond platting so their are holes left on the body. Looking for $23,500obo call me at (415)609-1967 or pm me for more information. I'll post some fresh pics of the engine bay and underneath tomorrow.

Very nice rig, my favorite color. GLWS, wish I had the room for another!

I always loved this 40. I must have checked out your thread 100 times and was a big inspiration for the way my 82 is going. Was my screen saver for a while too. Wish I could have bought this a few yrs ago.
Just giving you props on a good looking cruiser. Good luck with sell ... if you must sell.

Todd

Where do you buy new oem splits? At the dealer? Love them, is there any reason not to buy them? GLWS by the way.
