Morgan, I was wondering if you ever got around to installing these.

I like the silver, nice job!

Jason
Took me forever to get around to it between work, lots of travel and the 6BT80...but the 42 is now getting some attention. Rear bumper and alternator are the next two areas to work on.

Finally wrapped up the install of the custom @reevesci Trail Tailor rear bumper. I love it.

Jason built a removable basket designed to hold a Yeti 35...which also holds 3 cans if you want to extend range to about 500 miles.

I opted to have recessed LED taillights added to the bumper. I sourced an after market plug from CCOT that is plug and play with the factory wiring harness...wired that plug into LED's and then replaced the OEM flasher relay with one designed to work with LED's...works great.

The Yeti placement is at the perfect height...got to test it out this weekend at the Coal Mine Cruiser Classic.

On my way home from CMCC, I pulled into Dunkin to get a coffee, and some arsehat reversed into me (whilst I was parked and laying on the horn!!! FFS).

This rear bumper paid for itself 3 times over this afternoon...nothing but a little paint to re-spray on the bumper. If I didn't have the bumper, I would have had a caved in rear passenger quarter.

Took my little man and one of the pups out to Coal Mine Cruiser Classic for a little camping. He had a great time...especually since he has been upgraded to the front seat.

I am just borrowing his 42 until he is old enough to drive...Today he jumped in the driver's seat, put the seat belt on and said "Keys Please Dada"...he is 2 years old...help!

Haha thats great!

My 2 year old girl told me today "jeep are whack" "landcrusier are the bomb"

My neighbour drives a jeep and evertime we walk past she says jeeps are whack now lol.

Lil cruiser head. 4 wheeling is a super thing to do with kids and it can last a life time. Boy or girl doesn't matter it's a bonding thing and those memories last a lifetime. Keep on wheeling,Dad
I plan to...we have a little girl on the way, expected to arrive in 2 months...the wheeling and camping will continue!!!

I don't own a Jeep, and haven't in at least 10 years...but somehow my 2 year old calls anything with a spare tire on the back a Jeep. That was fun at a Cruiser event ;)

This past weekend I was tinkering with the alternator and power steering options on the 3B and my little apprentice was also hard at work for about 8 hours working on every 10mm and 12mm bolt he could find in the engine bay.

The theme of the day was "Dada, my wrench no work"...10 seconds later "There you go, Dada my wrench work" happened every time he found a bolt that fit his wrench's and sockets.

I eventually gave him some dedicated bolts on the bumper to work on...needed to limit the chances of a fall off the bumper...the boss wouldn't have been pleased if she saw him precariously perched on one foot on the tow hook hanging over the engine with tools-in hand.

I will post up the tag next time I am in the garage.

Drop down to Hwy 50 east through Pueblo. continue on to Kansas through Garden City and Dodge City, KS. You can continue on Hwy 50 to Wichita, KS. From there, you can pick many different routes available. I would continue on through Bowling Green, Missouri. Stay south of Indianapolis and you should be fine. I love taking back routes. there are always interesting people to meet and great views.

That what I was going to suggest. We took 50 to pick up Miss Scarlet last May. It wasn't a bad route. Certainly more interesting than I80. Nebraska just goes on for forever.

Nebraska was torture...18 hrs of corn in 115 degrees and 100 humidity and no A/C.

Man im digging your rear bumper i think ill go that route when i do my tub next winter. The less holes i have to put in it the better haha.

Yep, no holes in the body, bolts right to the rear cross member. Jason @reevesci built it for me.
