I have this truck on consignment and I think it's a pretty darn good deal. I sold it last year for the owner in NM who had owned it for 20+ years. He was a retired commercial airline pilot and he was all about maintenance! The new owner has decided that FJ40's in general are not well suited for him. It is not on ebay or craigslist.
What it is:
Nice late model rust free FJ40 from New Mexico with an Aussie H55 5-Speed tranny, power steering, rebuilt 2F engine, Non-USA Toyota distributor with timing adjustment. Truck will run 75MPH at 2750 RPM’s. OME suspension, Holley carb from Downey Off Road. K&N Filter, Aux fuel tank with electric switching between tanks, new fuel lines, overhead storage tray w/ C/B radio & aircraft map light. New headliner and upholstery. New gaskets, weatherstripping, window felts, storage behind seats. New BFG AT 31x10.50’s on new rims. Ramsey winch. External lights, AM/FM Cassette. Note: The flares are screwed into the underside of the fender lips. Can be removed without the holes being totally obvious. The metal is not cut.
