For Sale 1980 fj40 p/s, a/c

For Sale - 1980 FJ40 w/factory P/S, A/C. I bought this cruiser last June in hopes of working on it with my son, but we have too many other irons in the fire so I am selling it. It is great unrestored condition. One of the previous owners had done a fair amount of work to the rig, rebuilt engine, transmission, and headliner. The 8K winch works but needs cable. There are a few small dings and a couple of larger dents in the rear (spare tire bump) and the upper left rear corner of the top - photos on request. This truck has very little rust, mainly in the bottoms of the ambulance doors. A/C is all there but is not currently working. The dash had been cut to fit an new style stereo - does not work. Tuffy center console. Runs and Drives great, would make a great daily driver. The rear end was making some noise so I am currently getting it rebuilt. Located in Roseburg, Or..

Here is a link to a photo album with all the pics I have of the vehicle. The rust on the drivers floor has a soft spot about the size of a quarter when probed. I believe this damage was caused by an defective catalytic converter/exhaust leak as it has a new c/c and the rest of the floor looks great. The paint looks to be original, weld spots still showing. The miles could be original, but I have no proof of that. Also, has the OME suspension on it.

For the price ,that is the best unmolested FJ40 I have seen. I picked up a 1980 FJ 40 in 1988 (8) years old and yours is in better shape than mine was over 22 years ago.
