Hello fellow muddersl
I have a dilemma of sorts . I have to sell one of 2rigs . One being the trail rig that I have had for 12 years(7 of those years it was out by the rubicon). Now I have it back and after seeing the trails we have here now I don't want to put any more cash into it .I have about 14,000 to 17,000 into including the original buying price. But I will put more cash into if I can't sell it,as I need a trail rig. This is what is has in it and what has been done over the years.
1-SOA
2-Saganaw steering
3-SM420
4-outside roll cage
5-Q78
All this stuff has less then 2000 miles on them.
Engine has between 70 and 80thousnd on it with headers and a weber.
Lock right locker in front axel, open in rear.custom rear pull out box for spare parts. Custom bed . 1966fj45back end of cab 1979front. Titled as a 1979. I forget what kind of seats . The reason I would sell is the cash I get for it I will put into my bj42 and that will be my trail rig as it is a lot friendly on the street.. But here is the kicker I am listing the bj42 here now as well ..So what ever one sells first I will keep the other,,,I want 6000 for the trail rig . The bj42 I have to get 12000 for as it is nice and has duel tanks duel batterys .5speed transmission power steering .Well just check out the pix.
In any case let me know and I can give you more details about both rigs. Pics shoud be posted in a day of all ..
Please email or call if you are serious

Thanks

stainless/james -
I merged your original post with the two pictures-only posts. If you need to post more you can add to this thread.

Good luck with your sale.

My advice to James was: "Oh, no... keep them both!"

Folks... I took the pics of these rigs yesterday for James... and boy do I wish I had some extra cash. It would be hard to choose between them. I think they are both priced very well. The BJ could be a pristine truck with just some elbow grease. Looking at the lack of the typical rust in the sill, wheel wells and floors made me want this unique truck all the more. The trail truck, with a rear locker added, would be DONE... I'd probably want to fab a cage/soft top arrangement too but that's bonus... I want them both but alas I can buy neither...

Here they are:
