All I'm sorry if I haven't emailed you back yet but I have a serious buyer who has made a deposit if that falls through tomorrow I will email everyone back and work at getting the pics posted on the thread. Thanks for all of the interest. Josh
FYI, I am the one who gave Josh the deposit. I went to look at the truck, we made a deal on it, but the title needed to get cleared up, so we agreed I would get it when it was handled. After many phone calls, emails and texts, he is no longer to be found. The cell phone number no longer works and he won't respond to emails or PM's, although I have seen he logged on here since my messages were sent.
Clearly, not what you would ever expect from anyone here.
If anyone here knows him and can get him a message, please ask him to do the right thing and return my money, so I don't have to pursue this any further and we can walk away with no hard feelings. Otherwise, I guess there is no point in trying to be understanding and a nice guy about it, his intentions have become obvious.

That truly sucks. Not what I would expect from a member of this forum. Hope it works out.
Guess times were tuff.... Never give a deposit w/out it in writing , driver's ID etc....
To be clear, we did talk via phone and email several times after we met in person. The deposit was placed via credit card with PayPal.
Can you pursue via PayPal?
well the good news is you used your paypal, you should have no problem getting it back. I'd get started asap calling paypal. It's a process and so far he has not acted in good faith. There may be a good reason for that we do not know (in the hospital, arrested who knows) but i'd start the process.
I held out hope that there was an issue preventing him from responding, but, once I saw he had logged in and not responded to email or PM, then I knew he should have seen my attempts to contact him asking for a response.
