tires and wheels
Took some photos yesterday to illustrate the way the 8" wheels and 33 x 10.50 tires look and fit on the piggy. These do not hit anywhere- fit well, with no problems. I have been buying wheels like this from Summmit Racing for years- they're cheap and fit perfectly, correct backspacing so they don't hit the tie rod ends, but still fit inside the wheelwell. In fact I run this same wheel on my orange and white wheeling pig- with 35" Muds on it (see my Avatar).
I have an old receipt from Summit saying this wheel part number is USW-70-5860. These are made by US Wheel. Summit sometimes offers free shipping I have found Summit to be very good to deal with. Price is in the $36 range these days (if my memory is accurate). Summit has several different styles and colors available in a 15 x8 wheel that fits cruisers perfectly.
Before springing over the orange and white pig I ran FJ60 wheels with 33 x 9.50 Muds on it. Perfect tire and wheel for a non lifted truck. For whatever reason the visual difference between the old 33 x 9.50 mud terrains and the 33 x 10.50 is amazing- the 10.50 tire looks more like a 12.50. The 33 x 9.50 give that "skinny tire" look.
It for now hope this helps. Gary S
