Garden hoses and valve

Thoght that was funny too. Apparently this type of engine heater was a common add on in Montana. With that maybe I'll change to10.5%. Thanks for the response.

I sent you a PM with my email yesterday. Did you receive? Some more pics would be great.

Thanks,
Jim

Any pics of the undercarriage, the frame rails and the rust spots? Also, the garden hose shut off valves cause me to wonder what other strange mods may be lurking, so any additional info would be helpful.

I can attest that I have seen that heater and valve setup on 3 of my own cruisers. It was not set up by me but works well so I still have it on my 40. Mine have 1/4 turn ball valves though.
That cruiser looks to be in very nice shape for a montana cruiser. Good luck with the sale!

Still for sale.

Would like to move this cruiser. Anybody interested in making a fair offer? This is really a great truck.

X 2 about any info related to rust issues on the body and frame....Also it looks like it has a sunroof?

Rust/stock/history

This 40 has signs of rust in the common areas that most have and would have to be addressed for a full restore although minimal. The frame is very solid and a great candidate for restore or a daily driver. Non stock issues are sunroof, engine heater(common to cold climate vehicles) and non factory front bumper. It came from Montana from the original owner who cared for it well.I bought it for a total restore because of its great condition and low mileage. Its got to be the nicest driving stock truck I've ever driven includeing 2 brand new ones back in the 70's.Health reasons will prevent me from carrying out the restore so I'd want to let someone else have this great truck.I've gotten numerous responses from tire kickers so please reply only if your a serious buyer.Thank you for your consideration.Mike
