Thank you.
Don't let that Glardy Customatic A\C go too cheap. That is a dealer installed option. Very similar to the one that came on our '78 and our later '82. That distribution box is in high demand.

My first inclination was to use some marine adhesive 3M 5200 (which can still e done but that stuff is uber strong). So, I made a template and installed six (6) t-nuts. transferred the holes to my hacked up wheel wells (the reason I came up with this design) and secured the flares with six (6) stainless machine screws. Two (2) of the screws are above the rear wheel well (pics after I remove the tape / paper). I was a bit apprehensive at first as to the strength of the Corecell structural foam but after working with it (and it being used in boat construction) I feel more than confident that the flares and respective hardware will suffice for my purposes. And after fiberglassing and gelcoating the flares, i think they may just hold up. The only way they would not work easily would be if the wheel wells were hacked up extra large (but mine were really hacked to the extreme). I'd be glad to send you a paper template to see if there would be enough metal to attach the flares with the t-nuts in their respective locations. Again, not looking to make a business out of this, just trying something different that would be an easy accessory to clean up that area instead of regular black flares. See pics attached. How are they attached to the body? Hate to bug but any chance for a pair in the near future?
