has the top ever been off? Whats the rust on the channels of the roof. Nice looking rig

I haven't had the top off.

See my YouTube videos. They give you a good look at the whole thing:

I see these central American BJ40's have no roll bar or heater.

Appears to be a bit of yellow overspray on the underside indicating a repaint at some point. I know that there are some central American companies that throw a quick restoration with body filler and paint and who knows whats been covered up. How carefully has the body been checked for rot, rust, etc... What about rust or bubbling from rust on the inside of the body. Rear deck has seen some very heavy use.

Also, how bad does this truck smoke when it is cold started and what color is the smoke?

BTW, not being critical just wanted clarification on a few issues. It appears that you have given everyone a lot of information, pictures and video to better inform them on your 40 which is commendable.

Smoke is briefly blue then white for a few seconds until warm. Had a friend smell for me the other day and didn't have any evidence of coolant.
Haven't found any bubbles on the inside of the body. As far as other rust and wear on the interior, ive done my best to make it evident in the videos.
