can you email me pics?

i want to see the Driver’s fender in particular, as well as the engine.

How many miles are on the motor and clutch?

Do all the gauges work? Any drivetrain parts been swapped out (tcase/trans) or are they original?

I see the exhaust needs work, is it driveable (or tolerable) or is it really wailing?

also, any rust? frame?

Brad F.

Lee_91pickup, I'll get those pics in a little while. Bfs95gt, where are you located? A zip would be fine.

It will be shipped to 78411. I haven't a clue what auto shipping costs...

Thanks,
Brad F.

I'm confused again ... no, no it's not your fault ...

mp_cude: Ummmmmm I have no cash but would consider cash and the '60 from you. :grinpimp:

All of the gauges work including the fuel gauge. AS FAR AS I KNOW the drive train is original. It was bought as a donor for my '74 but runs too well to be scavanged ... besides I REALLY need the cash. It is all FJ40 stuff I just can't say for sure that it is what the boys at the factory put in it.

The exhaust is really not too loud but I don't know if the emissions place will accept it because not all of the gasses go out the tailpipe right now. I drive this thing all over the block around my house to Sam's, Walmart, Fry's, Autozone and only get the good ol' nod and an occasional thumbs up. No angry faces from any excessive noise.

For your other questions I used it to push my '74 onto the trailer at my dad's house and it is sitting there right now. I will probably go get it tonight so I can check those things out and get your specific pics then.

I will check into a shipper but I might just throw it on my trailer and take it to you if the shipping is more than my gas would be. I'll have to get back to you tonight ... I hope.

Okay for me to carry it down there would be just under $600. I will look into a shipper.

I'd hate for you to drive it down here unless you and the family are looking for a nice vacation on the coast. Let me know what a open trailer on a rig would cost as well.

Thanks,

thanks man. If you can get the mileage too i'd appreciate it!

The kids are begging to get to the beach!!!

Thanks,

That's exactly what it would be for us, a fun vacation to the gulf!! When you talk about the open trailer do you mean an 18-wheeler with a flatbed trailer? I haven't had time to look into shippers just yet. I'll be doing a bunch of that stuff tomorrow. For those of you waiting for more pics, I will get those up tomorrow too.

I don know that an owner/operator usually gets over a dollar per mile but if he had several shippers on his wagon they might each pay less. Sorry to be dragging my feet on this but I've been working in this dang AZ sun and it really drains a guy.

Yes, I see 18 wheelers hauling old cars all of the time up and down the interstate, i just didn't know if they had some of those shippers in your area that maybe travelers across the country down I10 that it would be possible to just drive it up on one of them and send it this way.

Yes it is still for sale. Will be posting pictures and more answers later today. Drive it everywhere around the Gilbert / Guadalupe area now that it's back over here. Starts with very little effort every time and just is a blast to drive around.

Okay, I just made an album for the latest pics of the '76. If I missed somethign please let me know and I'll get them uploaded pronto.

Thanks guys!
