I don't have a tow bar. However, if you make an offer I like, I might get a temp tag and drive it down for you.

There's a guy who wants to trade me for a mid 80's '60 with cold AC for it in TX but that wouldn't happen until possibly next weekend if at all.

Hey man things have changed drastically here. My Suburban started running like **** and over heating real bad so I started looking at the usual suspects. Found chocolate-milk-looking stuff in the breather tube and filler neck ... Dang! Everyone knows what that means ... blown head gasket! :bang:

So now I need cash bad! That doesn't make the '40 worth less but I wanted you to know I would be more than willing to drive it down to Tucson if we came to an agreement. For now I'm going to tag it and it will be our sole daily driver. :steer:
 
Really need some help here guys. The family Suburban blew a head gasket and the six kiddos won't fit in the '40. Works fine as a DD when just hauling three but Smokey gets itchy if I carry more.

Just asking for a bump please.
 
Can I get a bump please? I really need some cash soon! Family needs fed and Suburban needs immediate work. Any offers please!
 
Alright y'all, I have now also uploaded pics of the front and ambulance doors to the same album as the rest of them. I hope to be installing the complete top this week and I will upload new pics at that point.
 
offer still stands ....lookin at those new pics I see it was rolled is the factory hood behind the doors is it still ok ??? did it get the windsheild mounts at all whats left of the factory roof is the white one your sellin or the red one ??

--The latest pics show what I believe to be the factory hood installed. I think it is the original hood because of the matched fading with the fenders.

--those look fine but I think they were replaced with the windshield frame--

--Good question, I'm planning on taking the red sides (what I believe to be stock for the 76) and bolting them under the fiberglass of the white one.--

I know its been a while and I will check my pm dates against this one to see if we have communicated since this last public post. Let me know if you are still interested. The 'Burb should be done today so I can now sell the '40. I've kinda cooled down on it since it has been our sole transportation while I replace the engine in the 'Burb.

Anyone else? From what I can tell the roll was like into a tree or something like that. The installed top was not damaged on top only at the driver's door like it had been wrapped around a pole. The roll bar was not tweaked at all so I am led to believe this was a slow roll into a tree or some type of pole rather than a real accident.

Thanks y'all. Hopefully I'll be starting a build thread of my '74 FJ40 soon.
