All,

I thought I would share some pictures of my 1976 Ford CrewCab 4x4 that we are going thru. The plan is to give this truck to my Dad to drive around his new home in Idaho.

That think looks absolutely mint. The options are impressive for 1976. Dual batteries, HD front axle, 4.10’s and limited slip rear, great stuff. Is it a closed knuckle Dana 60 front? Keeping the axles and drivetrain or upgrading? Looks like there’s almost no rust either. Great find, can’t wait to see where this is going.

Did you purchase this truck from Chris Swenson? I’ve been following along to the build posts on the crew cab facebook forums. Really well done truck with 428 swap if I recall.

Front axle would be Dana 44 if 3800lbs. Heavy duty. I had a 78 F250 plow package special! It had a Dana 60 front and rear, C6 tranny, heavy duty cooling, and large alternator
. Unheard of in an F250 in 78 😉
