I got wind of this pig about 6 months ago when I was in the middle of putting Project Parts-O-Pig together.

Rumor was there was a one owner green FJ55 about an hour east of me and the owner had a bad case of the cancer and it needed to go.

I sent an emissary to attempt procurement a few times but never had any luck.

I switched gears and found a guy that knows everyone in that county and he did the deal for me for a case of Buffalo Trace whiskey.

I unloaded it and took it for a spin.
Two things it must have is a carburetor and then exhaust gaskets.

I'm going to trash the little push bar tonight. I already s*** canned the camo tint

Shes home. I'll evaluate it and decide which to keep but I'm leaning toward this one and selling the Parts-O-Pig when I get the paint done.

More soon.

Nice find, any idea how much bondo she has?

I just got out from under it.

Seems like the painter did pretty good. There is one bubble spot and quite a few pinholes that look like they were just painted over instead of filled in.

So sad they painted it. I'm going to put that on the list to fix for sure.

I have a few pinhole leaks in the gas tank I'll need to seal and one of the vent hoses was off to the plastic dealio in the fender. Dirt in there. The gasket around the fill tube is off so there is crap all in the fender.

The dash looks good. Radio looks
Like poo

PO removed the AC years ago. Never replaced the front of the heater blower. I'll have to find one.

Yep

just swap the whole axle...save you a bunch of trouble...I have the heater front grille but not certain I want to part with it just now...I could maybe be convinced...

The panels were thicker than the originals and gave the guy trouble going back on,.. you can set the clip in position on the handle then push the whole shebang on, SNAP!
