I don`t know that much about rims on FJ 40 `s I was going to buy used rims from a dealer but cost to much to ship So here is my question can I get rims 15" 6 lug to fit my FJ from a salvage yard I wouldn't know what to buy or know what I was looking at as far as back set etc. I have 4 way disc Here`s the other ? would still like to use hub caps Any body out there have a set of rims in the Southeast Fl. area for sale Thx Buz

pretty sure the fj cruisers have 16 inch wheels not 15s?

If you are asking about OEM 40 Series rims, you’ll want to find a set that is welded on the back side, not riveted. The pre-1976 rims won’t clear calipers with rivets. They are also still readily available at the dealer.

i know what you are trying to say...but your delivery is incorrect...welded wheels showed up well before the brake calipers did....pretty sure i have one stamped 11 or 12 of 73 that is welded...but i know i have a few from 74 that are welded.

Uh ok. Point is he needs welded rims.
