Hey man, nice videos :D She looks and sounds beautiful!

s*** man, I keep forget to pull those knuckles off for you. I'm not sure if I get to it before I go to RPI on Thursday.

out with the old in with the new......(or out with the new in with the newer).
Ive decided to go auto in my 40.
I have decided to use a 700r4 with my dana300. Im still trying to research the cheapest way to get there but a fello cruiser member will be supplying the chevy adapter plate and starter in lieu of my dodge adapter and bellhousing and clutch and maybe NV4500......???

anyway, inspired by woody's and Isotel's build i am in the parts collection stage right now....

Hopefully the body of your 40 doesn't end up looking like Woody's Raisin

Boom! Got my new fj60 housing bolted up in the front. I used a 2.5" axle sleeve tube on the passenger short side, allowing me to keep the springs inboard and move the WMS to WMS to 61". I also scored a set of 6shooters with trunnion bearing eliminator from a fellow mud'r that I'm adding fj80 TREs too. It came with ARP studs too. If you've been wheeling with me you know I go through knuckle arm studs like a Pez dispenser on my old small pattern knuckles. I shouldn't have to worry now.

I know your 40 is closer to completion now :D

Found this cool gif I had forgotten about from when we took your truck out to Uwharrie, before you tore her apart again.

SHE LIVES!!!!

At first it seemed like we were going backwards. While Martin was working on his center console, I was ripping his rear end apart.

After a bit of a diff saga, we got a 4.11 fine spline diff from Rafael (Thanks man!!) and put it back together. Mike swung by to take a look:

Console on the floor, then installing the shifters, which was a frustrating process.

After we got the shifters in and made a couple of tweaks, Martin took it for a spin around the driveway!!

Couldn't be happier! Get that thing finished up Martin, I wanna see her back out at Uwharrie!!

Great. I am glad it was helpful.

I love your truck.

You decide if you were gonna put a sway bar up front?
