How do the Tires center in wheel wells with the Ironman springs? I am leaning toward the Nitro gas shock version

Bump for pics on the 2” Ironman lift, been seriously thinking about the lift. Ironman has a new shop in Tualatin, OR, that I stopped by earlier today. Wondering if you can use their shocks without going with the lift.

Anyone? Anyone? have pics of one insalled on a 40?

Does anyone know if they run a 15 mm diameter leaf spring pin on their 1960 to 1980 FJ40 Lesf spring pin (vs the 1981-1984 18 mm pin)? I called them and they didn't know.

Installed this kit for a customer. No issues on the rear. The front lower shock mount though has a terrible angle. Considering cutting it off and welding it parallel to the upper one....

Is that shock angle at full droop or at curb weight with the tires on?
I don't have the wheels right now so I tried it at full droop (jackstands under frame).

I then tried it with jackstands under the axles and was basically the same.

Is the front leaf spring pin offset/ if you flip the springs will it center the shock? Also, what are the part numbers for that U-bolt kit?
What do you mean by offset? I will get the part number in a bit for the entire kit.

Try turning the front leaf springs around.
Isn't the wrap end supposed to be on the non shackle end? Here is the kit number. TOY001BBKG

I don't know if this helps, but from the top of the shock (lower) stud shown in your pic to bottom of steer stop is 3.5" or 3" ctr to ctr on my front axle 6/70 build. Is it bent downward?
