Thanks for chiming in here Georg, I hope you see my intent was never to disparage you, or even TT with this post, like you said it went sideways fast. As you alluded to, nothing I said was untrue, and I was just conveying my experience and looking for advice on alternatives. I didn't reach out to you because it sounded like sales of this type were handled by Rourk now, didn't think I'd get anywhere by "running to Dad" with my complaint. With that said, I reached out to you in the beginning for a reason...you have a great reputation and the TT parabolics are supposed to be 2nd to none in ride quality. I'll reach out via WhatsApp so we can hopefully put this behind us. Thanks again for putting this to rest.Looks like this thread went sideways in a hurry ..........
I'm going to keep it as short as possible.
Yes, we're proud and excited to be part of the Don Kyatt / Terrain Tamer network which is a family owned business. They've been around since 1969 and the cofounder, Frank, still shows up to work every day, as does his son and grandson. Speaking of the grandson, he was just over here from Oz for 2 weeks to help us get the new branch up and running. You'd be hard pressed to find a harder worker with a better attitude......
Enough of that and let's get back to business and the "ïssues"at hand.
First and foremost, I ( and we ), appreciate the kind words and support, especially during the last couple of months as we're moving to our new location and setting up the new warehouse. Your patience during this process is certainly appreciated.
We certainly could have done a better job communicating with you and for that I'd like to apologize. We gave you a rough shipping quote ( based on previous shipments all over the US ) but our shipping cost was substantially higher than anticipated. I'll be happy to forward you the quotes we got from several carriers.
All that being said, how about you give me a call Josh and I'll be happy to chat about this instead of worrying about what a crystal ball or tea leaves tell you?! I think i have a very viable solution that should work for both of us and get you a set of our parabolic springs for your FJ40 as well as our ongoing tech support and guidance.

Just seeing this. My setup is definitely not off the shelf. The springs are secondhand. custom springs that @Cruiserdrew had made by Alcan. Additionally I have 2” receiver tubing between the frame and shackle hangers to achieve the lift, droop, and shackle angle that I wanted the truck to have. The tubing will also support a custom, quick release rear rack…one day.65swb45 (Mark) posted this pic of the ironman springs installed...they look to have the best shackle angle and axle position of any of the springs on the market.

Hey Mark, thanks for the insight, nice setup! I found that pic on a thread talking about Ironman springs and I guess I misinterpreted that's what you were running on that rig. Thanks again for clearing that up!Just seeing this. My setup is definitely not off the shelf. The springs are secondhand. custom made springs that @Cruiserdrew had made by Alcan. Since I run an auxiliary tank on Ruftoys, I am absolutely certain that the distance from the frame hanger to the center pin is stock. That is the way Alcan usually makes their springs anyways. The fact that the wheel is centered in the opening is because I did a custom trim when I opened up the wheelwell and then welded a piece of 1/2” tubing into the new arch to avoid having a saw-cut tire slasher.
I have no opinion about any springs being currently offered for the FJ40. Hth.
