I bought this chassis with full intent of building my dream FJ40. Unfortunately, my career is taking me to the west coast and I'm not going to tow this chassis on a cross country trip.

The frame and axles are from a 1974 FJ40. To my knowledge they are stock gearing, and have drum brakes on all 4 corners.

The transmission is a stock 3 speed (floor shift), and the transfer case is stock as well.

The chassis has been coated (either powder or some other type of coating that looks like it was professionally applied). It has aftermarket springs, and longer shackles (I think SOR). It's sitting on 15 inch wagon wheels with 31 inch tires that still have decent tread. The only negative is the frame is missing the rear crossmember (where the bumperettes attach).

I also have a full set of hard fuel lines, and a steering column the buyer is welcome to. Pics are below and really don't do the frame justice. I have the title, and the VIN plate. PM me with questions.

$500 firm - come take it away.

Blue axles are rad

Those blue axles look like they might have belonged to TCStark at some point. Lol.

Affirmative. Bought this from Chris last year. I'm moving to the other coast, or I'd keep it and build it up.

$500 for a titled frame with both axles and rims is a solid deal. Someone should snap this up..

***edit*** whoa - New shackles, newer springs... Definitely worth the asking price

I bought the engine form this rig, checked out the frame six months ago. It is very clean and solid. Good luck with your move.
