1971 FJ40 Rear outer wheel bearing race removal

Oops... got carried away with the angle grinder while trying to remove the rear outer wheel bearing race. Got the race off, but slightly scored the axle in the process. Anyone have this happen to them and did it create any problems? I think it should be fine, but I figured I'd get some input.

That's ugly but you'll be fine. When those axles break they then to shear/twist on the inner spline in the differential.

Indeed, not very pleasing to the eye... that's what I get for trying to squeeze in some wrenching after a twelve hour day... live and learn...
