Please see my add. The 40 was purchased without a title but is badged with matching numbers. I purchased a Vin tag and title from Classic Cruisers of Salida and have the vehical registered and titled with that vin tag. Let me know if you have questions. Thanks, Steve. 1971 FJ40 Toyota LandCruiser Original Paint/Motor Running and Driving

Asking Price is $7,000 and it is located in Frisco, Colorado.

I am extremely interested! Do you have any more information about the condition? I lived in Durango for Several years and live right across the border in New Mexico now. Thanks

I love the color so much my 45 is getting painted Spring Green.

Bump bump

The 2 vin tags currently on the vehical match the frame. I have purchased and registered a seperate door jam VIN tag to be anle to register and drive the vehical but have not attached it to the truck yet at this point. I was still thinking about getting a bonded title since it was numbers matching. The photo is the VIN tag and clear title that comes with the truck.

So the two tags match the Vin but the title and third tag do not?

All the tags and frame on the 40 our numbers matching I purchase the truck without a title instead of waiting for the bonding process. I purchased a title and Vin tag from Classic Cruisers Of Salida so I could register and drive the vehicle as rebadged I just have not rebadged the vehicle at this point.

Badges in the vehical. I had the DMV run the VIN before purchase to berify it wasn't stolen and that it hadnt been registered in a number of years. I was told the title was old enough to be purged and the title could be bonded for.

It is in fact Spring Green. We call the the truck minty.

So you "purchased" the title from Classic Cruisers (not the vehicle), but the title that you purchased could have been purged and also somehow possibly bonded. In any case, it comes with the vehicle you are selling. I'll bet Minty goes fast. GLWS

No that is not correct. The 40 was purchased without a title. I checked the DMV and the VIN from the 40(attached to the 40) was listed as not stolen and not registered for a number of years. So the original title is considered purged by a the state(I dont have that title). Instead of going through the bonding process(to get the title for the VIN attached to the 40)which would have taken awhile and cost more I bought a clean title and VIN plate off a 1970 that was in the junkyard at Classic Cruiser of Salida. I was going to drill out the existing VIN tags on the 40 and replace it with the VIN tag I bought. The title and VIN come with the 40. Hope that makes things clear.
