I would buy this truck and tow it to Georgia and register it no problem. (They register vehicles without titles using a bill of sale when they are a certain age.) Of course I would be doing this if I was not still in the Philippines. (I will be in the market for a 40 just like this one in 14 months.)
Not to beat the horse, but I would just spend the few hundred dollars at Broadway Title and Bob's your uncle. They would can send a clear title to you and if you want you could use it to register the truck in your state without shenanigans.
Moving vins around is never the recommended solution.
GLWS. This truck is priced very well.

Congratulations. Looks like quite a vehicle. Once you get it all sorted out, if it's not too much trouble could you PM me with a few of the details. I may be in a similar situation, and couldn't figure out if Uncle Bob's Broadway Title or MainlyGetnew titles was the way to go. Any guidance would be appreciated. I'm in Ga often, hope to see you out and enjoying your new rigExcited to get it. I'm a sucker for original paint rigs. I wasn't even in the market but finding an original paint spring green 40 at a reasonable price is not something you see every day. Plan will be to keep it original and just enjoy it.
@Hugh Heifer - thank you for trading PMs with me and when you are back state side feel free to swing by and check it out.
