1970 pig partially disassembled ready to restore. No motor or trans. The transfer case is there. Nice seats and glass. All parts labled, boxed and inventoried. Usual rust in rockers and top. Sounds like mine when I got it, but mine came w/ all the running gear. Where is it?

think I saw this one in marietta GA; it has been gutted; has had all the rubber removed:eek:has significant rust issues; IMO way overpriced; has been on ebay several times with no takers..

It is in the Atlanta area. I looked at it about 1 1/2 years ago also. I tried to buy it for what I thought was reasonable then with no luck. It has everything removed, boxed and labeled. I wouldn't say the rust is "significant" (no offense Lou) but there is some but really not that much worse than mine or the typical 55. It would be a good start but priced too high in my opinion. It does have some pretty good parts if it ends up being parted. As a whole it will add up to a LOT of work. You will also need a drivetrain for it. The original owner had the F rebuilt but wanted a fortune for it.
 
yep, sounds like the one I saw in ATL........crawled underneath and found the "floor repair" was sheet metal welded OVER the rusted out floorboards:eek:.....leaving a deadspace where the rust cancer was still in place.:eek:........IMO; the repair needed to be cut out then new floorboards put back in place and then the issue of replacing all the rubber seals:hhmm:+ no motor or tranny........not by any means an easy fix and then the owner was very unrealistic about price:meh:..........think the one that came out of Tallapoosa;) was in much better sheetmetal shape and at a much better price :steer:

I guess I'm used to the prices of the antique Ford's I restore. $ 1800.00 wouldn't buy a grill for a 1934 ford. Oh yea, forgot to mention ,I sold it today.
 
It's not. I got $1800.00 and kept the radiator for my FJ truggy.

Thats funny I must have bought a different truck because I didnt pay that much.

Either way it has all the parts that we need and I can make some cash on the parts that I dont need.
