I bought this rig early this year from GIFU. I believe it used to be owned also by orange fj45. anyway after 8 months of work at PROFFITTS CRUISERS it is done to a point where I am happy with it. Jeremaih and the guys are super nice and thanks to all the cruiser heads that refered me to him. anyway here are some picts of its life stages. picture#1 before:

well as matt who is in northern minesotta was restoring his rig. His rig inspired me so i showed a picts to jeremiah. Also he got me 33 by 10.5 BFG ALL- TERRAINS on stock rims. I drove it all the way back from Delta Colorado to Los Angeles. Not much problems and a very beautifull scenic drive even with lots of rain and some snow. I am proud of my almost 40 year old rig.:D

Your new/old truck looks great. The 33's look great. Can you give us some details on what you did for suspension? Did you keep it stock or change the springs? Did it receive a lift, looks like it, and how much and how did you achieve the lift? Where you happy with the quality of ride back to LA? My LV will be mostly a street truck and it needs to ride nice, your comments are appreciated.

Man that is freeking gorgeous. I envy you. Take good care of that please.

WOW, That is a really nice looking 45LV. I love that 2-tone color scheme. We need more pics! Would like to see some of the interior and underhood too.

Thanks for everyones compliments. I really appreciate it. anyway here are some picts that i got from jeremiah as the progress went along before it was done. as for the lift i cannot recall but I will ask him about it.

It's running stock springs with 33X9.50's on Land Crusier disc brake rims. We took it from SOA to SUA. Also, it is sitting on FJ62 axles and has a rear ARB locker.

stock spring?

Grease Cruiser, check your PM. How did you get 33's to fit on stock springs. I will be using axles off a a 78 FJ55 so I will have front disc and have already converted the rears to disc. Also installing the 2F and 4 speed from the same 55. It has power steering so I going with that. But fabing in a 40 firewall section to allow for all the goods to bolt up nice and neat. Mark

Yep,
Stock springs. Notice in the nice painted pictures how the 33's are higher up into the rear wheel wells. Now go down to the not so nice, unpainted pictures and see the rear wheel well clearance. This unpainted pic was taken while it was still SOA. Same 33" tires are on the rig in both pictures.

Did I see that parked at Tyremans on Magnolia last week? Nice truck.

YUP! i had an electric fan and a aluminium radiator installed as the old one was not coping well. there is a few things that needs to get done to it as there was not enough time for jeremiah to go thru everything. so eric at tyremans is helping me out with like misc stuff like installing a horn and also my battery is not holding a charge. trying to figure that out so thats why i only consider it almost DONE.;)

Eric has helped me out in the past, he's a good guy. Where did you get the radiator? My Land Rover needs a new radiator and I have been considering an aluminium.
