Here is an interesting version of the 45 wagon. Pics sent to me from Bud. He picked this one up in Montana and said it is supposed to be a special import for an ambulance. it has a 262 chevy inline 6 cylinder for a motor and a 3 speed tranny.

Pretty cool if you ask me. :)

It came from the factory like that? Does not look like it to me. I would expect it to have ambulance doors if it was supposed to be an ambulance.

It is a neat looking rig though. Looks real clean. I would have it garaged rather than out in the elements, but that's just me.

I like it

treeroot ! it was nice meeting you @ s&t I would like to see your yard ?? how many cruisers do you have out there ? you are the lv man !! & I want to thank you for all INFo , & pics that you have researched for us ! your fellow cruiserheads appercitates all of it !! thanks ! mike in ca.

Root- Quite interesting for sure! I'm suprised to see the outline of the rear driver's side door....like its been welded shut, while the passenger rear door is operable. Sure do like the look! I'd love to see some interior pics...who knows what you can do with the back seat area! Definately a clean looking wagon, uh er "ambul-wagon" Or we could call it the "FJ45lvagon"

It was great meeting you as well. I have some pics I need to get to you of your LV. My server might be back up later tonight. I'll send you a link to the pics as soon as it is back online. Way too big for email.

Just an interesting note, Willys also offered a three door version of their wagon although pretty rare.

Nice to see some pictures of that. Bud lives close to me and called me up the other day. Glad he got in touch with you Mike.

Mike, you have PM.

The body is a '65 era judging by the fuel fill. It has a heater so probably not a '64. The '66 would have had a fuel door.

I actually think its the 64, because it has a 4 before the vin.

Chevy also had a three-door Suburban in the late sixties...Cool LV.

i had a 71 3-door suburban. i think it was the last year, possibly 72. when they went to the newer body style they went to 4 doors.

dig the "amby"!:grinpimp:

72 was the last 3 door Suburban. My Junior high biology teacher had a brand new 72 4wd. They went to 4 doors with the 73 body style change.

about as stock as that 45LV pickup in BC someplace

it was a normal 45LV that was converted.....almost bet money on it

would like to see the interior

neat rig regardless
