I hate to do this but I am relocating to Asia so I am selling off most of my toys.
For sale is my 1966 Johnson Furnace M-416 Army Trailer. Price - $1500
It is in Rome, Georgia.
I refurbished it when I got it - it had the original tires on it!
The entire trailer was disassembled and sandblasted then I painted it all with POR 15 and top coated it with Chassis black. I added a drop down tailgate, blasted and powder coated the rims and put some brand new BFG A/Ts on it. I also replaced the wheel bearings and the worn out shackles.
I used POR15 mat on the underside to strengthen the bed and combat some pitting.
The trailer is fitted with a PO made 2" hitch and I have a lunette for it as well. I have a few original parts in a box I will include in the sale as well as a well used original MIL SPEC cover.
Again, this is priced fairly at $1500. This trailer is in super good shape and will last another 48 years after the work I have done!
