Be patient with your brake line nuts when disassembling. IOW don’t strip them:slap: like I did. Find a heavy walled line nut wrench. Poor quality line wrenches will flex. A small torch flame will help break the bond. There’s an old MG mechanic who has a good rebuild video on youtube.
 
Cool rig-mine has a VIN only 300 away. It’s possible they came over on the same boat. Unlikely, but possible.

So did you ever get the transfer case into gear so it will move? The low range selector lever (on the dash) looks like it might be pulled out slightly, putting the transfer in neutral.

You’ve got it! I pushed the selector lever all the way to the dash and she sprung to life. Runs pretty good and now she moves.
