Got the skid plates installed. Headed out exploring Saturday. AZ winters are the best.
Went out north west of Phoenix looking for old mines and relics. Good times
Storm rolled in and it just added to our great day.
Installed the Lutz speedo correction device. Speedo appears to read correctly now. Easy peasy. Will be nice for the Hammers road trip.
Swapped out the Icons for some Slee shocks. They are actually built in AZ and I have run them before with great results.
Went out to an old mine site and some other ruins. Shocks rode really well. A little softer, but I have not even played with the clickers yet. Another great day in the desert.
Made some better resi' mounts. Nice and solid now.
Went out exploring the North east side of the Bradshaw Mountains. Weather was crazy but it just added to the fun. Checked out a bunch of old mine sites.
Eventually the graupel turned into snow flakes.
Went exploring and checked out a couple of old homesteads in the desert.
Next was this creepy homestead with old Chevy conversion van......
Ran Smiley Rock trail and camped on top of Woodchute Mountain. Good times
Went out today with a friend by Lake Pleasant for a shake down run since his recent upgrades. Ran a sweet loop in the desert with just the right amount of challenge for my open open truck. All his mods worked well with just some minor fine tuning and trimming needed. Good times.
Fun stuff. Even got home early enough to get some wrenching on the 40 in.
Finally, got a chance to head north. It was not as cool as I would have liked, but still a good time. Went swimming and camped at Blue Ridge Reservoir.
Then today on the scenic drive home across the 300 road.......the temps dropped and the rain fell. It was wonderful.
Pulled the sleep deck to build a drawer and give it a finish. Going to spray some poly out it in the morning.
