I'm making use of the rotisserie as much as possible. Makes me feel better about the time and cost of building them.Man - nice part hanging rack!

Seems like the "Lego/Erector Set" qualities of steel tube stuff can always lead to other uses.
Thank you Gus.BTW - goes without saying the truck looks great!
Hope it works. I'm just now finishing the top cap. Shot another coat of epoxy sealer after sanding a little body work. Then put down several coats of surface. Had some left over Featherfill that I shot. I now remember why I don't like this stuff. Well, its ok for small areas but it sets up so fast you have very little time to get it out of the gun before it starts to thicken up when doing a larger area like the top cap. Adding some acetone helps a little but it still kicks off very fast. I was moving pretty fast to shoot a quart of material before it was too late....Temps were not that warm today. Hate to see what this stuff does in 80+ degrees. Probably pretty good for spot repairs.Greetings from Rocklin, CA. I got directed to this build a few weeks ago and I've really enjoyed your fab work. Thank you especially for your photos of the roof re-enforcement, I'm dealing with the same "beer can" effect and I plan to use your idea. Gracias! Pete.
Thanks Ken, I've "played around" with it in the driveway. It goes pretty slow with the Orion+Toybox.Really looks AWESOME Mike!
Have you driven it yet?
I was considering but really wanted to have it finished first. I just don't think I can get the remaining parts painted and installed before then. I'd have enough time in those 6 weeks if I didn't have a day job.45 Run? 6 weeks!![]()
Need to get the non-op changed to full registration and this of course also requires insurance when you live in CA. Kind of waiting for it to be finished before spending that money every month.
Beautiful attention to detail !
True. My only regret was not building it years ago. It sure is a handy tool.Agreed!
You sure have gotten you use out of that rotisserie!
