1964 FJ40: convert shifter back to three on the tree (1 Viewer)

Hello!!

I converted my 3 on the tree to a floor shift in my teens. Now nostalgia is telling me to go back to that 3 on the tree. My dumbass did not save the parts from back then so I’m looking for a lead on where to find the parts to do it?

I should have all the column shift parts, but for some reason I’m moving real slow today.

Leave it on the floor - in another 20/30 years the low lever will be easier to operate than raising your arm up to shoulder level - but that's just me getting old.

I'm keeping the column shift in my '71. Kids nowadays would have a hard time figuring out how to steal it

You also might try landcruiserparts.net, I got a complete steering column, column shift assembly from them….had all the linkage hardware from the steering wheel to the transmission.
