My rig sits idle for awhile so as many of you know that brings in another problem of the Master Cylinder leaking from condensation inside the Master Cylinder. From what info I have learned, that is an inherent problem or property of Brake fluid and the lack of the vehicle being used.

So...I got tired of buying new Brake Master Cylinders so I had a stainless steel sleeve put in one of my Master Cylinders. Hopefully that may sole the leak issue.

I tried using some old pistons, seals from old leaking units, but of the two I tried it still leaked from the pedal side. I guess the seals must get damaged from the condensation or maybe just shrink up from sitting around so long?

Anyways, I'm looking for a rebuild kit. I know SOR carries one for $35.90. That seems like a high price. Normal kits here locally run $17.00. Is there a better source for this kit?

There is a 62 rebuild from the Netherlands in the 25 section. Search in that section for your answers. I believe the tin cup version is the same as the later plastic reservoir.
