Fhawk5, who are you directing your questions at?

I feel obligated to ask as I'm the OP for this thread.

The first post is a link to an ad I found on Craigslist - just like I said in the first post. I know nothting about the truck other than what's in the ad.

Not hating. Just trying to help.

Just trying to get more information on what is included in price. I would expect it to sell quickly at that price as Craigs list does not say all what is included. That is all I was asking.

I've taken some projects on - but that resto would be a handful! Good luck to whomever takes that one on!!

The biggest thing that would bother me is the fact it is a FJ25. When you find a part broken or missing it's a lot harder to find than other cruisers. Unlike the troopies and BJs there is no out of country source for parts. Most the surviving FJ25 seem to be in the US. That isn't many and most aren't being parted out.

Not enough info in the ad. What are these others parts I assume he is selling for more $$? Are they from the 25? What 25 parts does he have that are not in the pictures? Did he ever reponse to anyone one here? Who is our FJ25 expert in Southern Califorian?

Mike, this has your name all over it...you have everything you need to finish this rig with that Black '59 25 that is now sitting at your place :bounce:

Dang it John now your just starting to sound sensible :hhmm:

You take a look at it Rob and sent me some pictures. I'm sure I could sell you a parts 25 for the things your missing. I would guess the front axle has been changed. 60 seriese wheels do not find a FJ25 front axle. Ask me how I know?:bang:

A trip to get it would be far cheaper then shipping, if you can even find someone to ship it in pieces. They charge a lot more if it is not drivable, and most will not ship if taken apart like this one.

ha, have you checked out airline and fuel costs lately? Even if I drove round trip, it'd be $2000 in fuel alone. When I had Phil's rolling chassis shipped out, it was around $800- $1000 if memory serves me.

I did run it by the wife, she's pondering it.
