Drove it home tonight, 3rd owner, was just a CPO in April this year. Only 86K km.

Will be doing the winter school run and hopefully some gravel travel, I’ve already shown the :princess: a few bumper options if we start beating up the plastics :steer:

Already pissed off with auto high beams just getting home tonight, lots of reading to do on all the features.

Awesome!!! I'll also be bringing home a GX460 soon as well. It's a 2013 Premium with 67k miles. I'll be the 4th owner but all the documentation/service was uptodate with clean CarFax and it looks immaculate. Can't wait to bring mine home and chop up some plastic as well :D

Ran it up Cheam lookout today, first time wheeling on all coil springs, smooth! Stuffed the front bumper a bit, will need to give it some love, some guys in a pair of Side by Sides we passed were like “do you know where your going?”

Nice run today, lunch in the mountains, aside of caution to preserve the nose and steps this is great off road.

Rear hatch handle is getting sticky in the (mild) winter here, short of pulling the whole door apart is there a special spot to spray some lube?

My best guess would be to figure out where it pivots and lube that. Or you can just do a spray of something without the small pin-point tubing that usually included with spray lubes and just blast everything in that general area.
May use a lube that has a rust inhibitor?

100K Service today, plugs looked original (!) battery was done (which I knew because it needed a jump once over winter) it got an injector cleaning too.

Noticeably smoother running now, should do way better on the light throttle hills where it was stumbling.

No other issues at 5yrs old, very happy.

Nice trip today with a few other families. Tagged a headlight...need to find a good place to buy one now.

Redneck fix for now...packing tape.

Beautiful country!
I guess this is one time packing tape was a better choice than duct tape!

Ok gang, I’ve searched here, foogle and gxor with no success, the display ATRAC OFF along with check engine light came on, what am I looking for?

Any work on vehicle or start after some off-roading? I wonder if you have a broken ABS connector? Do you have a scan tool to pull some codes?
Nope, just the wife running errands for a while now...:hmm: I do not have a scan tool.

I’ll wait a bit but might just take it in :meh:

Easy fix...she drove it a couple more times and the light went out!

Got it out today for a good run, so smooth on the forrest service roads, still loving this thing.

Any future build plans?

Nothing much, it’s mostly the wife’s kid taxi, I’m supposed to be getting my pig running for bush duty.

If I stuff the front bumper many more times it’s getting trimmed up though. A fold down hatch table would be pretty handy though so I could see one going on.

I agree about the rear door table, seems like a very usable accessory.

So at the end of our Sunday outting the front splash pan fell off, I guess the last oil change someone decided putting all the bolts in was too much work

So my question is, what hardware do I need to but to re-attach this thing?
