I am thinking about putting a 14 bolt under the back of my FJ40. I am currently running 37's but will be pushing to 40's hopefully this summer. I will be putting in flipped FJ62 springs in the back to get a bit of wheelbase and pushing the inner wheel well up to the lip.

I am going to be running 1.5" spacers up front on my FJ60 axle so WMS-WMS up fromt should be 63". Ideally I would want to use a C&C axle with the tubes cut and swaped to put the short side on the ps to line up the diff to my orion tc. I have yet to see and C&C axles for sale in the SoCal area. Will a SRW with 6" cut out of the long side to run two short shafts line up well enough for driving on the highway without two much vibration? I will run a wheel spaver to get it the same as the front. Does anyone make and sell or have used C&C hubs for purchase that I can swap onto a SRW. Or does anyone else have any ideas thqt have worked for them. I have already read a freds40s build about the C&C swapping sides. I have already read through the 14 bolt bible on pirate but no info for what I am looking for.

I used a single rear wheel 14 bolt, cut 6 inches of the long side to match the short side and your done. Off set rear diff, one spare shaft. its a great cheap way to do it and you get a super strong axle. you can shave the bottom if you want to get extra clearance. Crane makes a pretty nice 13 bolt cover.
these pictures are not the best angle but it is off set.

I just reread your post and signature, you want this set up! WMS 61.5 perfect for you space out FJ60 front.
my front Dana 60 is 64.5 and my rear 14bolt is 61.5 you cant even tell by looking at them and the truck turns sharper that way.

drw hubs on a srw axle retaining the srw shafts and you will be @ 61". inorder yo get proper alingment you will need to use both stock shafts put the lung tube on the short side and the short tube on the long side. pm me for more info as I build thes axles on a regular basis and machine hubs for all bolt patterns.

TIRED,
What was the Dana 60 out of. I am probably going to go to that set up when I get back from afghanistan and push to 40" tires.

using both sides same axle does not make it centered .. ?

Nope because its centered with two different sized shafts. The pinion is offset, 6" I think, within the differential so when you run two short shafts it shifts it over.
