I am thinking about putting a 14 bolt under the back of my FJ40. I am currently running 37's but will be pushing to 40's hopefully this summer. I will be putting in flipped FJ62 springs in the back to get a bit of wheelbase and pushing the inner wheel well up to the lip.
I am going to be running 1.5" spacers up front on my FJ60 axle so WMS-WMS up fromt should be 63". Ideally I would want to use a C&C axle with the tubes cut and swaped to put the short side on the ps to line up the diff to my orion tc. I have yet to see and C&C axles for sale in the SoCal area. Will a SRW with 6" cut out of the long side to run two short shafts line up well enough for driving on the highway without two much vibration? I will run a wheel spaver to get it the same as the front. Does anyone make and sell or have used C&C hubs for purchase that I can swap onto a SRW. Or does anyone else have any ideas thqt have worked for them. I have already read a freds40s build about the C&C swapping sides.
