Hey, Reaching out to all 100 owners. Love to have you at Cruise Moab 2012. Cruise Moab - Toyota 4x4 event in Moab, UT

Rumor is there are about 40 spots left as of 2/1. Overnight runs are full. I'll be leading Poison Spider Friday and Hells Revenge Saturday. It'd be great to meet a few more of you in person. The 100's are well suited for many of the trails offered.

Last year's trip

I'll be carrying a good number of spare parts and happy to help out in any way I can. Hope to see you there.

Good timing for this thread....

Hi, what is the minimum lift, tire size requirement for the run?

depends on the run. Plenty can be run stock. Go the website and they have descriptions of the trails and ratings. If you register, it will not let you sign up for trails they have decided you dont meet. Last year the system automatically determined what you were eligible for.

got it, thnx

Be the first one I missed in 8 years. Taking the family the following week to Europe

I'm in,

San Rafael Overnight
Friday, I'll be Gunning Fins-n-Things (IMO the best introduction to Moab along with Hell's Revenge).
Saturday, I'll be Leading Chicken Corners (another great family/easy going run)

Hope to See You All There!!!!!!

I'm in as well. In fact, Christo is lifting the hundy and fixing a few small items as I write this. We are looking forward to the 'Swell', if I don't get bumped...

See you all there!

In an effort to add more tech to this tread. Here is a picture of my factory front skidplate and Slee ('cause they can always use another plug) belly pan. I believe the factory front skid plate is enough for any of the trails in Moab. I like the added protection of the belly pan but didn't feel the extra pieces of metal were necessary for the trails I run.

The belly plate is the one that has taken all of my underbody shots so far.

Why not add the middle plate? Can't remember what is there but seem to recall something important like the transfer case.

T-case is protected by the belly plate. Middle plate only covers the front driveshaft t-bars and they are protected by the diff drop and the frame rails. I just can't see jamming a pointy rock up in there in just the right way as to do any damage. I have removed the cardboard piece that was installed from the factory. I also saw no need for a stronger front skid either. I try to put my wheels on the pointy parts. I worry more about the rear driveshaft and rear diff as they are closer to the ground than anything toward the front of the truck. I have bent 2 rear driveshafts. I just don't see the need for the extra weight.

Everybody plays poker differently. I haven't been to Moab, but I wouldn't cut corners with a $215 pc of protection.

BTW- looks like you have a beautiful young cruiser-head. My little girl is 3yrs and my boy is 7 months. I can't wait to spend the upcoming years together in the hundy hitting trails like Moab. It really is fun to think how these type of TLCA events turn into fun family outings.

That's what it's all about:cheers:

I've hit a few deer and feel a bull bar is better protection than a Sahara bar. I prefer Yahtzee to poker. :) Please come to CM12, or to Vail, CO. I'd be happy to show you around.
