Anyone have real world fuel mileage numbers on the GX470? Thank you.

My wifes GX's trip computer is always in the 16ish mpg range with about a 50/50split of highway and city. Back off the overly-optimistic 1-2 miles off the gauge and you will see that it is no innovator in fuel economy. On trips, we might get another mpg, but I don't baby it either.

Thanks for the info. WHich truck do you drive the most together? LC or GX?

When I replaced my brake rotors and repacked/retorqued the outer front wheel bearing over Labor Day, I noticed the toyota tech who did the wheel bearings 3K mi ago way overtorqued the outer axle nut on one side...it must have been like 70 ft-lbs! The tension on both front wheels was way high too. I didn't measure it before I took it apart, but I'd guess at least 20 lbs. After I properly torqued it, I noticed I was getting nearly 2 mpg better fuel economy in the city..went from 14.6 to 16.6 mpg. So far, that was only one tank, so I'll have to see, but it can't be good having your front wheel bearings over-torqued!

The LC if we are going to be in it any longer than just running around town. The GX can wear on you on longer trips. But its a bit easier just taking a quick run to the store in the GX.

The cheapest 05 GX with decent miles sold this year at auction was for $31,500.

I wholesaled it for a $4K profit.

Doubt a consumer would see one with less than a $37,500 price tag.

I have a 03 with 59k lined up for 30k. I will offer less. It has nav, mark levison and third row with rear air. They are like gold in these parts. We shall see what happens.
