100 series T-shirts

I'am adding the 100 series shirts to my line up. They are at the printer, and I should have them in about 10 days. They match all the other styles Iam producing, like the FJ40, FJ60, FJ80 shirts I've done.

Here is what they are going to look like.

Will you be selling them?

Earlier in the thread someone brought up the Land Cruiser time line idea with each model and year... but it was apposed given the width the shirt would have to be, but how about this... a Toyota Land Cruiser Family Tree with the FJ-40 (thought about the 25, but it was never sold in the US) at the top with the rest of the models staggered by a vertical time line allowing for more of the shirt space to be used. All of the drawings would be the side view line type and on the pocket (is there a pocket?) the 100... of course this could be an entire series with your model of choice being on the pocket. Could even add "100 Alumni" under the pic of the 100.

Just another idea...

My mistake, sorry about that. Thanks for the update Dave. All of the info I had read indicated that they were sold overseas only.

1958 was the first year of Cruiser imports to the US. With a whopping sales of 1.

I'm not slamming the FJ Cruiser at all but it doesn't really fit in the Land Cruiser lineage in my opinion. I think it is a fine vehicle and it definitely used some of the styling from the FJ40. But I think it fits more with the 4Runner and HiLux lineage because of the drivetrain used.

Oh and there is a lot of non-factual info on this site too. Like the 55s coming out in 67. They didn't come until 69. And they skipped the 45 series completely.

Toyota has had mistakes in timelines they've published too. I'm not talking about this one in specific but others.

Would anyone buy TLCA 100 series shirts if they did them like this? I'm guessing TLCA would do a prepaid order if enough people were interested. I'd send them the redone art for free.

I wonder where he's getting them printed, one of our competitors I'm assuming. I think I'll buy one just to look at the print quality and see if they did everything up to Land Cruiser standards. If it's a less than suberb print I'll be sure and not say anything, I'm sure they'll look great though.

Back to my original post in this thread, we printed 576 Gildan navy s/s tees today and there were 25 or so shirts that were rejects and had oil stains and holes in them. That's a big spoilage rate for our industry. Phil, have you noticed this with Gildan or do you print on other brands?

I've gotten a shirt or two from Mark before and I was very happy with the design, as well as the quality of the shirt.

I'm sure he would do a great job with this one! ;)

Can't wait to see the final product!
