Hi, Can anyone tell me exactly what this Yakima rack is and maybe where to get it (if it's still available)? I saw this pic in a thread here years ago and I've never been able to find that rack. Thanks!

Looks like off the shelf Yakima stuff - cross bars, maybe a cut down fairing, and then 4 bike trays (without the supports on) facing alternating directions.

It's a shame the guy who owns that beautiful truck can't remember which rack he had. Sad really.

What I do remember is that I looked at mixing Thule and Yak, e.g. Yakima base rack, Thule trays, etc. @Trunk Monkey is right - I do remember cutting the crossbars to be flush with the towers. And, I'm 90% sure they were Yakima - Thule was square.

Sorry I can't help more... it was 10 or 12 yrs ago, and I've had lots of racks on lots of trucks.

Update: I asked a buddy of mine who still has those four trays (which surprised me). They're Thule Echelon trays on Yakima round bars.

Low Riders should be easy enough to find on Craigslist. Though the average seller won’t know what they’re called so you might have to scrutinize photos. I have them on my 06 LX also. Good setup.
