Bump stops are generally also used to prevent overcompressing your shocks. Got measurements?

Bumpstops were used on the rear of this truck when the 35's went on in order to reduce rubbing.
When the N74L went on I changed nothing. Slee spec's that a 2" bumpstop is needed (on an 80) in order to protect the N74L shock. He has numbers on this though I don't recall what they are. Since nobody knew of anyone who had tried this out on a 100-series I decided slap them on and try out the setup and come what may. If I had to rip them out then so be it. Not the case!

Since, GregB (on MUD) has taken on-the-truck measurements with the N74L. He confirmed that only 0.5 inches of bumpstop reduction is necessary in order to protect the shock. That's where he runs his. He also runs 33's so rubbing isn't an issue. I'd luv to run 0.5" stops however my tire would be slammed into the Slee bumper. I'm sure it would halt my progress.
When I do build another 100 I will run the 0.5" stops and cut away what is needed.
Thanks for asking Ben!
