Everything is based on the delivery of the 80 Series boxes. They are in Powder Coating now. Got everything else going so just need those to be done.

Before Xmas? Hmm...

The powder coated lockbox and locking lid for fire extinguisher mount for the 80 series have been picked up. Assembly all weekend and shipping on Monday. About to start the 100s.

I'll have Solid Works renders in a few days. I'm meeting with the metal shop on Monday to details the issues of producing the 80 Series boxes and how to prevent the same from happening.

My goal is/was to be ready by Xmas. Trying.

Combo lock option has been worked out on the 80s so no prob.

The 60 and the 62/early 80 are going to be after the 100. I have to follow the demand or else I won't be able to afford making them.

Hi, I have 1999 and would buy a keyed one. I am assuming your in the $150-225 range.

OK folks I have some preliminary drawings. These are NOT the final design. I have several changes being made that will accommodate more dead space and the lid will NOT be what is shown. It must be a 5" wide lid because of the narrowed throat on your consoles.

THIS IS FOR THE 1998-2003 100 SERIES ONLY!!!!

Here are some SolidWorks renders. This is merely to show that this project is indeed moving forward. Please feel free to post up your thoughts and any suggestions you may have. The total height of the box will reach the platform where the 12v aux port is so that it is flush with it. There will ONLY be the one height option.

If I can get feedback fast and furious then I can start making modifications and settle on a design and there is a possibility of having these by xmas. I'm not promising but I do have all of my ducks currently in a row to make this happen.

In a nutshell:
• 14g steel
• Medeco lock
• Combo lock available upon request but it means I need to cut a special lid
• Felt lined walls
• Rusteze (anti-rust) floor liner
• All hardware included
• Powder Coated
• Spring hinges
• Optional Concealment Liner will be made available

I am trying to keep pricing between $150-$200 but it all depends on volume.

Wouldn't it be easier to just make the whole thing the same width, i.e. leave the pockets on the sides for sliding stuff down there?...then the lid is same width as the box and won't require disassembly for install...
Either way, sounds good to me.....I'm still in for a combo lock, as it seems a good number of others are too....
