OE studs still stick out so can only use with OE wheels that have pockets where the studs can go.... Most don't push limit on tire size so wider than 285 not a good idea if you wheel.

I don't run spacers and like that the tires are still 100% under fender.

here is the spacer place...just got on a real computer.

I'm almost at the wear marks on my Nitto Terra Grapplers, and I have to say have not been impressed. They are 3 years old, but only have 25,000 miles on them.

That's nuts...I have 50,000 miles on the 285/65/18 Terra Grapplers on my Tundra as of this morning, and they easily have another 15 - 20k miles left.

I don't disagree. I bought them because 75% of the reviews said they got 60k miles off them. But there were always a few reviews here and there that said they didn't make 30k miles.

My truck is pretty heavy compared to stock I guess, maybe that affects it? No other ideas, I drive like a grandpa and rotate every 5k miles religiously.

Also I'd say 95% of my driving is city miles, short trips. Now that I think about it that probably has more to do with it than anything else.

My wife's Toyo AT2...still have the tits on the tread blocks with about 3k miles 90% city. But I will rotate these 5 tire every 3 months no matter what. City driving will f a tire up real quick..rotate and check psi like clock work. Set your phone and just do it.

I only run about 42lbs, and yeah it has to be the city driving. Lots of edge wear and tread depth is getting real low.

My results are similar...1 of mine is really bad, 1 is so-so, and 2 others are OK.

Honestly if I wasn't going to CO I feel like I could get another year out of them (7-8k miles) but don't want to run blackbear with 25% tread nor do I want to rotate in a full treaded spare (purchased late) for a 2000 mile road trip.

I have some 1" spacers that I am about to not use anymore. I am going to put tundra steel wheels on and go no spacer. I'd let you have them for like, $100 - all 4 if you want ntsaint

got the wear measurements on my tires

New tire tread depth (measured off my never used spare): 8/16

Tires on truck
Center depth, 4 or 5/16 depending
Edge depths, all 3/16

I know these probably have another 5k in town miles...but need gut reaction on if I really NEED to replace for CO trip. I know I def WANT to...

I could swear you posted this same conversation last year.

Are you saying you wore out a set of tires in one year?

My edges are worn mostly on these TGs

Get you some more kicks before the trip. You want em anyway.....

That's cause I did...

I over post/question because I don't know sh*t about all this...I value the input here for sure.
