Is the AHC a deal killer on a '99 470? This is a soccer mom ride now and would continue to be a mom ride. Probably never go off the pavement.

Is the failure rate high? Easy to swap for LC stock suspension?

I would think it would be fine as long it was used in it's stock form.

Mine was fine until I starting messing with it. Cost to change it over to stock suspension is around $1600.

I talked to Michael Harness about it at GSMTR (they had done the AHC removal on the LX we bought), and it didn't sound that bad. Of course, they do this stuff all day every day, so take it for what it's worth. Worst case, we've got a local example now...we can just copy what they did :)

CVT awning went on today. Very nice piece of gear...

Hmm, just looked it up, our ARB actually extends about a foot more: Size: 78.74" (2000mm) wide x 98.43" (2500mm) extended. For some reason your photo made it look longer than our ARB, but maybe I just have a hazy memory.

Now that you have the awning, you'll always be looking for north facing parking spots! :)

Anyone have the P0120 and/or P0121 codes yet. Helping to try and diagnose a friend's 1999 100 series. Either the TPS or The APPS. Any good words?

Seriously debating ripping the AHC out of this truck before August. If @wct49 is game.

@wngrog and @Bomar ...what shock and spring models are you guys running? My truck had rear tire carrier bumper, roof rack, sliders, and drawer system.

Nolen I know what springs you have / will have.

Just trying to decide whether or not to keep screwing around with this AHC or bite a big bullet and rip it out.
