Doin a little research on tires while watching my daughter playing in the backyard...

I'm almost at the wear marks on my Nitto Terra Grapplers, and I have to say have not been impressed. They are 3 years old, but only have 25,000 miles on them.

So I'm thinking it's going to be Nitto Trail Grapplers or BFG ATs.

Question is do I stick with the 275/70/18s or go with the slightly shorter but wider 285/65 versions?

Also @Bomar what size are your new tires? And any feedback so far? On my mobile so search sucks...

Mine are extreme version in that size so more MT than AT. I would take a long look at the Toyo OC AT2...v the others wet city driving and highway driving has been great last weekend drove it 11 hours in a day and rode better than work truck

34" plus though right? Has your truck been regeared?

1" max

It will look good that way. I run spacers on mine with the 295's

They are taller and heavier. The gearing is fine but the weight is there

Thx. I'm leaning that way.

I've seen other people say to run a narrow spacer in the rear than on the front (or maybe vice versa)? That make any sense?

And who makes good spacers? This is another thing I have zero knowledge on...

Lift for the 99 is not in the cards right now.

If I put 30mm spacers on the rear springs and index the t-bars up with a front end alignment...

Are the stock shocks okay with the added height until I can afford an Iron Man/OME/Slee package?

Slee only 1.25 now for 100. No regear. I can tell zero difference between 285.65 to 295.70....speed or braking our truck is heavy. I had 60 gallons of fuel so was heavy and was great... you will regret. BTW I had 50k miles on a set of terras with 9/32s left...and wheeled them twice.

Those look good. They supposedly come with a 45-day/500-mile buyers remorse guarantee.
