I have the Slee heavy 2.5" kit with the Slee heavy rear springs. They are allegedly the same spring rate as the 863s, but an inch shorter. So I'm guessing the 866s would be about the same height at the Slee heavy, just progressive and perhaps not squat as much with a heavy load?

I DD with a rear bumper, spare and mildly loaded 180# drawer system. Rides great and has 1/2" of rake. When fully loaded down for a long trip with the dog, 2 kids, cooler, hi lift and recovery gear it has 3/4" negative rake, so moves 1.25". I am debating swapping to the 863 for the added inch of height, or considering another option. The 866 sound interesting but not sure if they'd work in my application?

@ntsaint, sorry to steal your thunder, just adding another question and perhaps more info for the collective wisdom to sort out!

So are you thinking that the 866 will give you the same lift as the slee heavies just a bit better ride / less sag when loaded? I am surprised Christo did not mention that option to me when I was discussing with him a few days ago. He pointed me towards 863 or 864. Funnily enough, the guys at ACC Toyota are installing my front locker next week told me to just run a spacer. Like Forrest Gump, I am not a particularly smart man, but I'm not going to beat myself up over not being able to figure this one out!

I don't know that there is a right answer, honestly. After hours of research and reading, I finally just did what Nolen said to do. If it sucks it's his fault :)

I also am going to run 30mm spacers that I already have installed.

Who is this Nolan you speak of? If he is the 100-series rear suspension god then you did the right thing!

It's me and I am far from a god of anything except maybe marrying over me head.....

I've built up a couple 100's and have found 866s to be the best for my builds

I have 860s now and they are no good loaded.

In your case I'd stuck with the Slee

Only 100% solid fact in this thread.

DNP.....spill the beans on the hundy you posted in other tread.
Haha. Nothing to see here. 295,000 miles. White/grey. Came with Slee sliders and Slee rear bumper (no swing outs), OME 1.5 level (t-bars/866s), all new OME Sport shocks, new upper and lower control arms and half-shafts. I added OEM18s with 305/60-18 TGs.

It's either going to work out to be a good driver / wheeler or with that many miles, it may end up being a parts truck! Time will tell......

With 300k miles on the clock, it runs/drives Like one with 150k.......

Hey speaking of that 100 - since I found 80 wheels so quickly on here - does anyone know where I can find a Driver's side turn signal assembly for a 2000-2007 Land Cruiser. The one on this truck (the turn signal lens next to the headlamp) is broken, and I'm trying to locate one........

Oh, and I'm also looking for some sort of front bumper. Either of the ARBs, Iron Man, Slee, TJM, etc. I know used bumpers are hard to find, but I thought I'd ask, just in case.

Haha. Nothing to see here........

What thread do I need to look through for pictures?

I think 06-07 had one piece headlight/turn signals so you need an 05 down.
