How did you end up with mounts and no rack?The owner, I cant remember his name, was at the 100s in the hills last year. Maybe he can bring you a rack.
I have a set of of the gamviti rack mounts (6 total with hardware) NIB for sale.
How much fer local pickup?
Bought the mounts to install the defender rack I bought from DNP on the side of the highway near Jackson because gamiviti was out of racks.

Why do they not come painted? I see the price point is great on his site, but the last thing I want is some rattle can roof rack.

I got mine Pre Powder coated. Hit Tim up via pm and see if he can help you out.
He was at the Ouray event last year, seems like I remember him saying they just didn't have the capacity or the desire to send them out painted or powder coated. So they just let customer handle. Super nice guy though, I'm sure he'll work with you.
You got a plan for the wind fairing on the Gobi? Or does it come with one? Looks to me like that basket up front would make it loud...

Gobi has a fairing with it. $1400 shipped.....it's steep for sure.
That was some serious s*** (pun or no pun?). It was horrible.
Lol, negative, but bought it at 258,000km & have taken it to Mozambique twice, South Africa, Botswana & the usual Mana Pools runs a few times, it has also done Kariba, Byo, Vic falls, HWANGE, Great Zimbabwe & I am planning a trip to Okavango Delta in August, then onto the Namib desert & hopefully end up in Cape Town, then we'll train back to Harare

Installed today. Easy. Only bitch was that with monster new battery I had to pull battery and tray to get driver high beam bulb in.
Crazy bright. Low beams are likely too bright. If I DD'd it I would do high beam only or figure out how to make a hard cut off on the low as not to blind others.
