David thanks but now I'm not so sure I wish you hadn't posted that reply! :)

Not the pic, I've seen that...its your experience that worries me. I'm not real big on heights either, but am hoping being in a large group of locals will help in that regard...

I'm taking my GoPro, so I'll upload some dash-cam videos when I get back.

HAHA. Yeah, I just wanted to make sure you weren't given JUST the sugar-coated version of the excursion.

You'll be fine. You're gonna be in a precise, well-sorted vehicle in which you're about 99.9999999999999% sure everything is gonna function as it should. Again, my comments are from someone who is no real fan of great heights. That being said, when you consider the sheer number of folks who have gone before you in the same places - without issues - in F A R less capable vehicles, you realize it's really not that big of a deal. (For instance, a friend of mine ran Black Bear in an M37 Dodge Weapons Carrier [below] and even brand new, that thing wasn't 1/10 the precision of a 100)

As I said before, even knowing what I do from experience, I still wouldn't hesitate to go back. It's an awesome adventure, and it'll be that much more enjoyable in a 100......the heights just take a little getting used to.

Damn. There must be something wrong with it. At that price you could buy it and sell it to Carmax and make a profit.

If I was local would go buy it for 14 and sell to CarMax for 18.

Quick 4G's...unless something is bad wrong with it.

Those 4Gs will pay for a lot of upgrades and mods on your current 100!

This is way more tread than necessary for me to get another year of local driving in. But are these tires gonna be OK in CO?

Just looking for opinions...

Don't listen to these assholes. You need tires NOW. From 49 Tire of course...:)

At a local mechanic that I trust to rotate and balance tires before I head to CO tomorrow.

Asked him to look over the truck and the only thing he came back with that I might want to do is flush the brake fluid. Says over time it can absorb water which can cause at altitude. It's original, so I see his point, but is this really necessary? I'm a little worried about messing something up last minute...
