pics and discussion on opor verse MT sliders.....I like the MT as they aren't canted up as much...ie more of a step. I know a few pages back Andy and Martin were discussing this.

Which do yall have and what do you like?

I notice the opor are on sale for $450.....in the rough...any issue with rattle can paint on them for easy removal and touch up? the other option being non skid (kinda counter intuitive to their purpose) or powder coating.

andy where are you with purchase?

I will check them out next meeting Ron....I need them for both reasons you listed...thanks

I like the MT sliders. Rattle can works great especially for touch up purposes. When I ordered mine for the 80 they got scratched up during shipping and I touched them up with krylon satin black. Could not tell the difference between that and the powder coat.

Metal tech all the way...

I got the MT ones as well. Been happy with them so far. Haven't gotten to use them yet....other than just as steps!!

Been driving the 40 all week and got in the hundo for the first time since last week. MAN that truck rides well. Also yall may have lifts, tires, lockers....but I have 15.6 mpg. Is that even possible!?

Take off the 12's and put the 18's back on.......... ;)

Yes, when it is stock. What does your 40 get?

BTW, nice meeting you Tuesday night. Thanks
For letting me test drive your 40.

Likewise mike. I always enjoy putting a face with the post. Did you end up with that FINE LX?

Never done mpg on the 40. I'm guessing 10 mpg? Its all in the shift pattern and size of your shoe. I just enjoy driving and fill up when the needle disappears!!

Patience is a virtue!! ( I say that having fully experienced the buyers bug myself)

The Nitto 305/60/18 was exactly what I wanted. Thanks for everybody's advice and Chris for the wonderful service at 49 Tire.
